Senior Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products for DoD Systems
- Market new ideas and present to potential customers
- Manage projects through technical leadership
- Influence the development of software to connect engagement, mission, and campaign analysis tools for the DoD
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in engineering, computer science, physics, operations research, applied mathematics, or a closely related field
- 10+ years relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years relevant work experience with Master's degree
- Experience going from problem statement to prototype to production-ready products
- Experience with Digital Transformation strategies, setting up ecosystems and environments, and providing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architectures
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Preferences
- Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) v2
- Broad understanding of warfare models (engagement, mission analysis, and campaign analysis software)
- Specific domain expertise (e.g., lethality, guidance, propulsion, EW, etc.)
- Experience marketing and writing proposals
- DoD cybersecurity and cyber risk assessment experience
Senior Systems Engineer Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Necessary to apply for and hold a US security clearance
- BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, computer science, physics, operations research, applied mathematics, or a closely related field
- 10+ years relevant work experience with BS
- 8+ years relevant work experience with MS
