Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and optimize Perforce Helix Core infrastructure to ensure high availability, peak performance, and enterprise-grade security.
- Oversee complex server configurations, triggers, permissions, and multi-tool integrations to support global development workflows.
- Architect and implement industry best practices for system reliability, data integrity, comprehensive backup strategies, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Partner with development and tools engineering teams to design and refine synchronization strategies, repository organization, and CI/CD integration.
- Act as the subject matter expert providing high-level support, troubleshooting, and specialized training for development teams utilizing Perforce.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated documentation regarding system architecture, operational procedures, and evolving technical processes.
- Proactively monitor system resource utilization and performance metrics to identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks before they impact production.
- Drive efficiency by automating routine administrative tasks and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) repositories for version control environments.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Job-Related Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a systems engineer
- Significant systems engineering experience specifically focused on Perforce Helix Core administration and optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex system performance issues and maintaining high-availability environments.
- Proficient in using automation and scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency and reduce system downtime.
- Experience managing version control environments through IaC methodologies and tools.
- Strong ability to communicate technical insights and architectural solutions to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site game development environments.
- Familiarity with integrating Perforce into automated build systems (e.g., Unreal Engine Horde, Jenkins).
