What You Will Do
- Lead and perform requirements verification activities, ensuring system requirements are complete, accurate, and fully traceable across the lifecycle
- Develop verification test procedures and independently execute them within a secure laboratory environment, ensuring technical rigor and compliance
- Conduct peer reviews of test procedures and design documentation, providing technical guidance and elevating engineering quality across the team
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to align on program goals, resolve integration challenges, and support planning and execution activities
- Communicate status, risks, and technical insights to stakeholders, influencing decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Develop and own system design approaches, coordinating with subject matter experts while modeling system behaviors, interfaces, and architecture elements within an Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) environment
- Apply MBSE methods and tools to ensure requirements, architecture, and verification activities remain consistent and digitally connected throughout the system lifecycle
- Drive resolution of technical issues by applying structured problem-solving, coordinating across affected teams, and ensuring timely closure
- Provide limited mentoring to early-career engineers, including guidance in the application of MBSE techniques and system modeling best practices
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- Experience with the systems development process, including requirements, design, integration, test, and documentation of systems, subsystems, or software
- Experience making decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- We Prefer:
- Experience with cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command and control applications
- Experience with communication systems, navigation systems, and networks
- Experience with design, analysis, test, and certification, integrating them into the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Training Environment
