Senior Systems Engineer – AI Integration (Hybrid- San Diego, CA or Kirkland, WA)

Responsibilities

• Build software tools to automate deployment and testing of compute infrastructure
• Scale critical services to support customer growth
• Apply test-driven development principles and help achieve continuous delivery
• Research and implement new open-source and commercial tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Collaborate with peer teams who have built world-class networking and orchestration solutions

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
• A strong background in programming with Python
• A strong background in Linux systems architecture and engineering
• Experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Experience with applying a configuration management platform such as Puppet at scale
• Understanding of core concepts around Kubernetes and Docker
• Prior experience in software development or release management is highly desirable
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies
• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience
