Senior Systems Engineer 5 (MM)

Responsibilities

• Participate in Information Assurance (IA) system, hardware, and software design activities.
• Evaluate requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure supportability for security certification.
• Perform implementation and technology studies.
• Provide identification and fixing of problems within existing systems, design and implementation of new systems, and enhancement of existing systems.
• Participate in analysis, design, and new construction of next generation IT systems.
• Understand the needs of customers and realities of commercially available IT products, and create requirements for implementation by the development team.

Requirements

• Telecommunication (TCP/IP, OIS/CMIP/X25)
• Operating systems (Windows, UNIX, and Linux)
• Databases/DBMS (Oracle, MS Access, Sybase)
• Applications (Tivoli, PeopleSoft)
• ITIL, SEI/CMM principles applied to engineering work
• Oversee/Manage systems engineering teams
• Technical project management and/or leadership to engineering teams and projects

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
• Bachelor's degree with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Associate's degree with at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
• Experience as a systems engineer on one or more IT platforms
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level II certification and Computing Environment (CE) Certification
• Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management (PAM) Services, and MS Exchange if assigned to Directory Services TTOs
• Understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI concepts if assigned to Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs
