Responsibilities
- Participate in Information Assurance (IA) system, hardware, and software design activities.
- Evaluate requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure supportability for security certification.
- Perform implementation and technology studies.
- Provide identification and fixing of problems within existing systems, design and implementation of new systems, and enhancement of existing systems.
- Participate in analysis, design, and new construction of next generation IT systems.
- Understand the needs of customers and realities of commercially available IT products, and create requirements for implementation by the development team.
Requirements
- Telecommunication (TCP/IP, OIS/CMIP/X25)
- Operating systems (Windows, UNIX, and Linux)
- Databases/DBMS (Oracle, MS Access, Sybase)
- Applications (Tivoli, PeopleSoft)
- ITIL, SEI/CMM principles applied to engineering work
- Oversee/Manage systems engineering teams
- Technical project management and/or leadership to engineering teams and projects
Qualifications
- Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
- Bachelor's degree with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree with at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
- Experience as a systems engineer on one or more IT platforms
- DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level II certification and Computing Environment (CE) Certification
- Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management (PAM) Services, and MS Exchange if assigned to Directory Services TTOs
- Understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI concepts if assigned to Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs
