Senior Systems Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provides system engineering support to New and Existing Product Elevator programs.
• Ensures that these programs deliver a complete elevator system meeting customer, functional, code, and safety requirements.
• Participates in product support activities involving root cause analysis, priority assessment, DFMEA, DFM, and other engineering tools.
• Supports implementation of Engineering Change notices and related engineering implementation processes.
• Manages requirements with team and stakeholders, creates system wiring diagrams with E3 or similar tools, and implements Engineering Change notices.
• Supports performance studies, cost benefit analysis, prototyping, test plans, or code requirement studies of all affected sub-systems.
• Collects elevator requirements from all stakeholders and decomposes these into requirements for the specific sub-systems.
• Interfaces with multiple value streams and stakeholders to ensure work compliance.
• Develops/calculates Performance Envelopes (Duty Tables).
• Supports control systems, machines, and drives integration.
• Supports high power transformer qualification and integration including step up, isolation, and step down.
• Supports root cause analysis activities (DFMEA, 6sigma, etc).
• Supports creation of project documentation to support compliance to internal and external requirements (test reports, drawings, specs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in EE
• 5+ years engineering experience
• Strong architecture and system interaction matrix understanding
• Local/national Code compliance documentation experience
• Strong communications and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Experience with engineering change implementation process
• Experience creating project documentation to support compliance to internal and external requirements (test reports, drawings, specs)
• Experience with Root cause analysis (DFMEA, 6sigma, etc)
• Requirements Management with team and stakeholders
• Capable of creating system wiring diagrams with E3 or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Control systems, machines, and drives integration experience
• High power transformer qualification and integration experience: step up, isolation, and step down
• Previous Elevator Experience
