About the role

Peraton is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator/TTO Lead to join their team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate will have experience leading technical teams and reviewing mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services support.
  • Performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development.
  • Provides technical services to the Security Services Product Line, including specialized accreditation activities.
  • Led technical teams (system administrators, ISSEs, etc) and analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
  • Collaborates with project personnel and partner/customer groups to provide input on contract deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience as a System Administrator on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a BS degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in Linux environments.
  • Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • DOD 8570 compliance with minimum of IAT Level 2.
  • Ability to lead a technical team (system administrators, ISSEs, etc).
  • Experience with monitoring mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission.

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
