Senior Systems Administrator (Okta)
Key Responsibilities
- Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of DLA’s Okta.
- Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
- Counsels and supports users in the use of Okta services.
- Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
- Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
- Provides end user training.
- Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
- Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems within the DLA Okta footprint.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.
- Supports general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Possess Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) knowledge.
- Possess experience working with DoD/DLA.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Possess five (5) years of overall professional experience supporting Okta environments with progressively higher responsibility in the IT field.
- Possess a relevant Okta certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, such as Okta.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
