About the role

Validating complex embedded software interactions spanning propulsion, ADAS/AD, body, infotainment, and connected services. Lead integration and validation of embedded software at the component, subsystem, and full system levels, ensuring seamless interaction between AUTOSAR based basic software, middleware, platform services, and domain feature applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed interface verification, including CAN/CAN FD signal validation, communication matrix alignment, diagnostic service testing (UDS/DoIP), and cross domain communication analysis.
  • Integrate AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive components, validate RTE behavior, configure BSW modules, and verify service-oriented communication paths.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases covering functional, regression, performance, robustness, and interface level testing.
  • Conduct hands on testing using HIL and SIL platforms, including dSPACE Scalexio, dSPACE ControlDesk, Vector VT System, and virtualized SIL environments.
  • Analyze logs, traces, and failure modes using Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Trace32, and other debugging tools to identify root causes and verify corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with platform software teams, application developers, systems engineers, and Tier 1 suppliers to resolve integration issues and ensure software maturity.
  • Support board bring up activities, including hardware interface validation, peripheral configuration, bootloader testing, and low-level software debugging.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Python, including custom libraries for communication, diagnostics, and interface validation.
  • Develop automated workflows using the Robot Framework, enabling scalable, modular, and reusable test execution across multiple domains.
  • Create and execute automated test sequences in ECU Test, integrating test cases with CANoe, dSPACE, and other bench/HIL systems.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve coverage, repeatability, and execution efficiency.
  • Enhance automation frameworks to support new communication protocols, diagnostic routines, and cross domain software interactions.
  • Utilize scripting and automation to streamline log analysis, trace parsing, and regression testing.
