The opportunity: Silvus is seeking a Senior System Test and Automation Engineer who will report to the R&D Director, Implementation on the Research and Development team. The successful individual will be part of the R&D team that understands performance requirements, develops test plans, implements testing infrastructure and streamlined test automation, and performs demonstration of Silvus’ MANET radios and other wireless products and technologies under development. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the complete design and execution of full coverage test procedures for novel wireless communication, sensing, and other effects and solutions using Silvus hardware and software products
- Working closely with R&D system engineers and Engineering teams to understand performance requirements and expected system behaviors, define test plans and implement test automation, perform troubleshooting and qualification
