Senior System Administrator

About the role

Responsible for managing and maintaining complex IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage server environments, including virtualization and cloud services.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems.
• Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new IT solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration or similar role.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix, Windows Server, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with network management tools and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of storage systems and SAN technologies.
• Experience with database administration and SQL.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
