Senior Survey Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data, working collaboratively with the survey team to maintain the highest data integrity
• Cook up with the project team on the development and review of the field package, field procedures, and general project lifecycle
• Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis
• Work closely with Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to learn how to analyze final boundary decisions
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians
• Aid Survey Technicians I & II in task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination
• Communicate with clients and project managers, ensuring that project requirements are met, issues are addressed, and project progress is reported accurately

Qualifications

• An educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of drafting experience (Easements and Deed Sketching)
• 5+ years of experience using Civil 3D
• Experience working on Oil & Gas projects
• Strong experience in data processing, including managing field data, performing quality checks, and preparing deliverables
• Solid experience with boundary surveying, including research, analysis, and preparation of boundary deliverables
