Senior Survey CAD Technician

Driesenga & Associates, Inc., a full-service Professional Surveying & Civil Engineering firm with offices throughout Michigan, is seeking candidates for a career Survey CAD Designer opportunity in our Kalamazoo, Michigan office.

About the role

This opportunity is for an individual who excels in multi-tasking and communicating with fellow survey & engineering licensed professionals and field technicians. The position will work with and under the direction of the Project Manager and/or the Group Manager and be accountable for a wide variety of tasks on projects.

Responsibilities

• Civil/site construction plan preparation
• Data point generation for use in construction staking
• Survey data reduction
• Preparation of final drawings for boundary and topographical surveys
• Assisting the Civil Engineering Department in residential, commercial, and industrial development
• Other miscellaneous Civil Engineering tasks

Requirements

• 3-5 or more years of relevant experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software in Survey / Civil Engineering drafting or a similar field
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
