Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Drinking Water & Filtration

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is a globally recognized company dedicated to innovation and sustainability. As a part of this dynamic team, you'll play a crucial role in sourcing materials for new product development and other sourcing projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing projects within project timelines.
- Manage supplier relationships and spend analytics to drive cost savings.
- Identify and justify sourcing projects using total cost of ownership principles.
- Source assigned commodities and develop global implementation plans.
- Ensure on-time delivery of project components, assemblies, and finished goods through troubleshooting.
- Collaborate on new product development projects to guarantee on-time product availability.
- Prepare and screen RFPs and RFQs, and lead supplier selection processes.
- Evaluate bids, analyze alternatives, and negotiate contract awards.
- Negotiate and draft supply agreements, including payment terms, deliveries, price, freight terms, currency exchange, and raw material commodity fluctuation.
- Manage relationships between internal and external parties to evaluate and execute changes in the supply base.
- Publish monthly commodity metrics and recommend action plans for continuous process improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, supply chain, operations management, engineering, or finance; Master’s Degree & CPSM certification highly desirable.
- 5+ years of sourcing experience, with a focus on low-cost country sourcing.
- Experience building RFPs and creating tools to analyze responses.
- Proven success in change management and "stretch" environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, oral, written, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
- Expert negotiator with the ability to lead in contract negotiations and build strong supplier relationships.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, with actual salaries varying based on various factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
