Senior Supply Chain Specialist

About the Team

The Sr. Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing logistics project activities, ensuring successful progression of both internal and external customer milestones. During launch projects, this position acts as team lead, overseeing pre-series parts supply and pre-series transmission deliveries to the customer while managing cross-functional activities within the logistics department.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdepartmental activities with management to define project class, scope, and required resources.
• Manage, review, and ensure maintenance of the New Parts List or comparable project task list by product for all relevant topics.
• Act as Team Lead, collaborating with ZF teams (launch management, logistics, purchasing, quality, and sales) and global SCM to support business development, capacity, and continuity.
• Ensure material availability for ZFTG production schedules, independent orders for pre-series, bank builds, etc., by reviewing stock levels, vendor performance, and production schedules to avoid shortfalls and provide status updates for all build phases.
• Lead projects and processes to continuously improve material and information flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
