About the role

Manages the alignment of the Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy by creating, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of Supply Chain Management—Procurement, Logistics, and Materials—to limit costs and improve customer service. The scope of this role typically involves significant geographic responsibility, such as a Region.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement new or improved standard and measurable processes for all core aspects of Supply Chain Management within INSIGHT.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and reporting of all Supply Chain aspects, Strategic Initiatives, and KPIs.
  • Develop a long-term SCM strategy aligned with the area of responsibility, considering lease/buy options, currency efficiency, contractual tax efficiency, and adaptability to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost-reduction strategies.
  • Strategically direct sourcing activities of the Expro Procurement Department, manage and develop the supply base, lead high-level negotiations, place Purchase Orders for projects, commodities, or product lines, and support Buyers in operational procurement.
  • Effectively manage Group Logistics policies and objectives to ensure acceptable service quality and adherence to Group Compliance policies.
  • Oversee Inventory control, material planning, and SAP material control, driving simplification, waste elimination, and improved throughput.
  • Analyze, promote, and develop forward materials planning processes to implement predictive controls over inventory, such as long-term strategic stock planning, master supply arrangements, global material usage, and material succession controls, to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage the Approved Suppliers List and the Supply Approval/Due Diligence process to ensure cooperation and the smooth flow of materials and services.
  • Meet with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics or provide performance feedback.
  • Analyze information about supplier performance and/or procurement program success.
  • Develop, manage, and drive cost-out initiatives across all aspects of the Expro business.
  • Ensure Quality and HSEQC objectives and standards are met by suppliers and staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience with a global oilfield service company.
  • Previous management experience in procurement, logistics, and materials functions.
  • Business graduate (or similar qualification) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Supply chain experience in manufacturing/machining oilfield components and/or raw materials.
