About the role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company dedicated to transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. This role focuses on defining, developing, and executing processes that deliver high-quality precision machined parts for missile and high-speed aircraft programs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with design teams to support the design development process, provide design for manufacturability feedback, and generate product data for precision mechanical parts.
  • Support internal Anduril design process and ideation, manage technical risks, proof of concepts, prototyping, and scaling designs for volume production.
  • Drive supplier quality development processes, including design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for components and sub-assemblies.
  • Manage supplier quality readiness by analyzing key and critical characteristics, developing measurement systems, and conducting supplier qualification activities.
  • Own supplier risk elimination to improve quality and reliability across the product lifecycle, utilizing audits, readiness reviews, and training/documentation.
  • Support RCA/CQA and MRB activities, own containments derived from purchased goods, and review supplier effectiveness of actions.
  • Audit suppliers' Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with flow-down requirements from customers.
  • Prepare and lead supplier onsite audits and reviews for contract deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field.
  • Experience with producing precision mechanical parts for aerospace or defense.
  • Experience scaling supplier capabilities and quality from prototype to production.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data mining, metrics generation, and statistical analysis tools.
  • U.S. TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Pay

$146,000 - $194,000 USD

Schedule

Full-time position with occasional travel.
