Senior Supplier, Quality Engineer, Interior

Responsibilities
- Administering the APQP process
- Working closely with internal and external customers to understand and meet their expectations
- Sourcing, quality assurance, and supplier development
- Delivering tooling and parts on budget and on schedule according to program milestones
- Developing and implementing supplier partner KPI/scorecards
- Implementing actions to improve supplier performance
- Evaluating suppliers for production awards
- Supporting all internal stakeholders to align with the company's objectives and core values
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Supplier Quality experience, including site audits, continuous improvement, APQP, lean problem-solving principles, and leading a team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with various components (plastics, seats, headliner, carpet, visors, console, lighting, etc.)
- Ability to identify process issues and drive improvements to enhance operational efficiency and product quality
- Strong working knowledge of value-driven supplier KPI and scorecard development and implementation
- Experience with technical GD&T and drawing standards training and review
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- High level of integrity
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment

Benefits
The compensation for this position is the range Slate reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position, taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; work location; and other relevant business and organizational factors. Base Pay Range (Annual): $108,877.00 - $163,316.00 USD. Annual additional compensation and benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in the equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
