Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
- Ensures that suppliers (including 3PL and distributors) deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
- Qualifies suppliers (including 3PLs and distributors) according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Maintains a monitoring schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure quality standards are met.
- Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.
- Supports new product development by providing pre-market quality engineering expertise, collaborating with component engineering teams on supplier selection, product acceptance strategies, control plans, and receiving inspection requirements, and ensuring suppliers are qualified and compliant throughout the product lifecycle.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for distribution quality, focusing on onboarding and qualifying 3PL and distributor activities, managing complex quality issues, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality, reliability, and compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
