About the role
The Senior Supervisor, Blow Mold Department is responsible for achieving blow molding departmental production requirements across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with a primary focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This role provides senior-level leadership for blow mold operations, overseeing direct reports and ensuring consistent execution of standards, processes, and expectations across all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe work practices and partner with EHS to promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Provide end-to-end leadership for blow mold manufacturing operations across all shifts.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for safety, quality, production, equipment, and people-related issues.
- Directly lead, coach, and develop direct reports consisting of leads, technicians, and operators; support training and certification of team.
- Achieve production plans while meeting quality, delivery, and cost goals.
- Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably blow molding or plastics.
- 1-2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience required (multi-shift supervision preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience with lean and/or six sigma methodologies preferred.
