Environmental, Health and Safety Resource

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Resource to support the Supply Chain team. This role will implement and execute the site's annual EHS Plan, ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits, build capability of site resources, manage the site-wide system and program owner process, lead incident investigations, interface with regulatory bodies, facilitate annual EHS training, and support security.

• Implement and execute of the site’s annual EHS Plan, including development of expense and capital budgets needed to support these efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits.
• Build capability of site resources to support implementation of EHS programming.
• Manage site-wide system, Program Owner process, to identify and evaluate hazards (risks), and implement effective controls (corrective solutions).
• Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
• Interface with regulatory bodies (OSHA, EPA, State/Local Regulators).
• Facilitate the completion of a site wide annual EHS training plan.
• Participate in formal EHS reviews of existing equipment modifications, new equipment purchases, and changes in site processes.
• Ensure that required regulatory permits are acquired, that reports are submitted to regulatory agencies, and any site permit conditions (e.g., sampling, recordkeeping) are met.
• Support the Tropicana Security team as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field or 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana manufacturing plant in Bradenton.
• Travel up to 5%.
