About the role

The Senior Superintendent at Clune Construction is responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout. They work closely with the Project Manager and are involved in all aspects of project management, including scheduling, logistics, safety, quality, and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in RFP responses, including developing presentations and leading pitches.
  • Schedule and plan logistics for projects, including creating detailed project schedules and weekly field updates.
  • Manage multiple, large, and/or complex projects with high levels of quality assurance and quality control.
  • Supervise and manage internal field team, trade partners, and owner vendors, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and issues promptly, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Develop and train superintendents and assistant superintendents, contributing to the growth of the company.
  • Participate in business development activities, including attending industry events and developing client relationships.
  • Contribute to the company's safety culture and OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • Experience managing commercial interior, healthcare, and/or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven experience in scheduling, quality control, and coordinating sub-contractors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and technical knowledge of construction trades.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

  • Mentor and train field personnel.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $140,000 - $157,000. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Please note that it is not common for candidates to be hired at the top of the range. We encourage open communication about compensation expectations during the hiring process.
