Senior Superintendent - Aviation
About the role
The Senior Superintendent at Clune Construction oversees projects from pre-construction through closeout, collaborating closely with the Project Manager. This role involves managing multiple projects, ensuring quality control, and promoting teamwork and open communication.
Responsibilities
- Active participation in RFP responses
- Supervise and participate in pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning
- Create accurate and detailed project schedules and weekly field updates
- Manage multiple, large, and/or complex projects with a high level of quality assurance and quality control
- Supervise and manage internal field team, trade partners, and owner vendors
- Promote teamwork and open communication on the project site
- Proactively recognize and work to resolve on-site challenges and issues
- Coordinate plans and specifications with architects and engineers
- Maintain a safe work environment with a goal of zero incidents
- Develop Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents on the team
- Contribute to the growth of the company
Requirements
- Experience managing commercial interior and/or internal fit-out aviation projects
- Experience managing all aspects of field operations including scheduling, quality control, and coordinating sub-contractors
- Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge
- Proficiency with scheduling software
- Strong skills in time management and prioritization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Validated coordination of plans and specifications with architects and engineers
- Ability to promote teamwork and open communication on the project site
- Ability to proactively recognize and resolve on-site challenges and issues
- Ability to mentor and train field personnel and help support and develop talent
- Participation in potential client interviews

Pay
The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $219,000, with exact compensation based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Please note that it is not common for candidates to be hired at the top of the range. We encourage open communication about compensation expectations during the hiring process.
