Senior Substation Electrical Engineer

About the role

Lead a team of professionals in the design and implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes and budgets, manage project timelines, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address environmental concerns and implement sustainable practices.
• Oversee the technical aspects of projects, including feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure adherence to environmental standards and regulations throughout project execution.
• Manage project risks, monitor progress, and report on project status to clients and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in sustainable infrastructure.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with green building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) desirable.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and methodologies.
