Senior Subcontracts Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to lead complex subcontract activities supporting advanced defense and security manufacturing programs. Key Responsibilities Include Managing the full subcontract lifecycle — from requirements definition and RFP/RFQ development to negotiation, award, and performance management.Ensuring cost, quality, schedule, and compliance targets are met throughout the process.Evaluating and selecting suppliers, conducting cost and price analyses, and mitigating risks.Driving continuous improvement in a high-tech, mission-driven environment.Collaborating closely with engineering, program management, legal, and quality teams to align subcontract strategies with program objectives and customer requirements. Qualifications and skills: Strong experience in managing subcontract activities, supplier evaluation, cost analysis, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, all within a high-tech manufacturing setting focused on defense and security programs.
