Senior Student Manager-Tennis

Responsibilities

• Aiding in scheduling student staff
• Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and evaluating student staff under professional staff supervision
• Leading, training, and supporting student staff
• Aiding in leading student staff meetings
• Overseeing departmental special events such as Fall staff training and Spring staff trainings and attending retreats

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to positively interact with student staff and patrons
• Completion of all required Penn State LRN trainings
• Ability to work independently
• One year of Campus Recreation employment preferred

Working Conditions

• Work a minimum of 12-17 hours per week
• Must be able to accommodate a variable work schedule that may include early morning, late evenings, and/or weekends
