Senior Structural Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate structural fitting and welding activities
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and translate into work instructions
• Utilize MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for planning and documentation purposes
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Organize and manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines
• Ensure that all structural activities comply with industry standards and specifications

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of structural fitting experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints / technical drawings and translate to work instructions
• Preference for experience in the Marine / Ship Building Industry

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in structural fitting and welding techniques
• Basic computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents accurately
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
