About the role

This role is a key technical and coordination position responsible for structural Revit modeling, drafting quality management, and the oversight of drafting standards within a multi-disciplinary project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and produce 3D structural models and construction drawings for concrete and steel structures using Revit
  • Oversee and enforce drafting standards, modeling best practices, and quality control procedures across structural deliverables
  • Cookordination and integration of structural models with civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
  • Perform model coordination, clash detection, and data validation to ensure accuracy and constructability
  • Review and verify drawings and models for compliance with project requirements, internal standards, and client expectations
  • Support quality management by identifying gaps, implementing improvements, and maintaining consistent documentation practices
  • Convert and manage models across multiple CAD platforms (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Develop construction quantities, support cost estimates, and assist with design-phase budgeting
  • Conduct and coordinate detailed design work in collaboration with structural engineers
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and oversight to junior designers and drafting staff
  • Participate in field visits, surveys, and construction support activities as required
  • Contribute to business development efforts through client interaction and technical support

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Structural Engineering Technology from a recognized institution
  • 15+ years of experience in structural drafting and 3D modeling using Revit
  • Extensive experience on heavy industrial projects
  • Strong capability in interpreting complex, multi-disciplinary design drawings
  • Consulting engineering experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of drafting standards, model coordination, and quality assurance processes
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and hazardous material regulations relevant to industrial projects
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and well-organized design and model files
