About the role
As a Senior Bridge Project Manager, you will predominantly be involved with bridge or civil structure projects, but will also have exposure to different structural projects. You'll work across projects for railways, highways, related transportation projects and, of course, bridges.
Responsibilities
- Manage bridge design and plan development
- Field investigations, inspections, and repair recommendations
- Type studies, structural designs, preliminary through detailed, including quantity calculation and construction cost estimating, load rating, construction monitoring, expert opinions related to bridges, civil structures and other structures
- Manage your own transportation and infrastructure projects
- Take a forward-facing role with the client
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent, with a master's in structural engineering preferred
- SE license is required for IL, WV, or OH or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
- Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois is required
- At least 10+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways projects
- Experience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois
- Exposure to other structural projects is a plus
- Familiarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, OpenBridge, CsiBridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways projects
- Experience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio, West Virginia, or Illinois
- Familiarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, OpenBridge, CsiBridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX

- Strong leadership and project management skills

- Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills
- The expected salary for this position for candidates located in Chicago and Cleveland are: $138,000 - $165,000
