Senior Structural (Bridge) Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Leading structural engineering staff during pursuit and delivery of transportation projects.
- Plans, schedules, or coordinates the preparation of engineering documents and activities for multiple structural projects.
- Captures with clients, subconsultants, and design-build contractors.
- Manages project budgets and schedules.
- Contributes to the business development of the department’s workload.
- Participates in personnel actions, hiring, and performance reviews.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering with 15+ years of bridge engineering and project management.
- MS Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) in VA required, PE in MD desired.
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineer licenses in other states as needed.
- Design-build experience is a plus.
- Rail bridge design and highway bridge rehabilitation experience are desirable.
- Experience writing winning technical proposals and leading successful client interviews.
- Strong people skills and oral/written communications skills.
Qualifications
The projected range for this position is $153,000 - $197,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
Skills
