Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager, Amazon Vendor Services - Consumables

As an AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you will be at the forefront of strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon's supply chain operations. In this influential role, you will lead high-impact projects and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
- Monitoring, analyzing and owning Vendor Key Performance Indicators such as: Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, including presenting insights, themes and trends to Senior Leadership team.
- Strategically analyzing production and delivery lead-times, while optimizing operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement.
- Spearheading initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability, collaborating closely with partner teams to ensure successful execution.
- Quarterly travel to vendor sites to support ongoing partnership
Requirements
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- 6+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field
- Experience managing multiple projects in parallel through prioritization, planning, and task delegation
- Building and maintaining relationships with business partners
- 6+ years of proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex supply chain projects, preferably in a large-scale retail or e-commerce environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable supply chain strategies.
- Microsoft Excel and SQL preferred.

- Experience with SQL
- MBA, or Master's degree
- 3+ years of negotiations and vendor management experience

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
