Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

Accountabilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and delivering cost optimization, risk reduction, and business value across key categories.
  • Own end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, from opportunity identification and planning through RFP/RFQ execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, selection, and implementation.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned indirect and technology spend categories, including SaaS and other critical business services.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations covering commercial terms, pricing, service levels, and supplier agreements while balancing cost, quality, risk, and business objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Technology, and business teams to define requirements and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through performance reviews, issue resolution, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic partnership management.
  • Analyze spend data, demand forecasts, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities and inform category strategies.
  • Track sourcing outcomes, savings initiatives, compliance objectives, and procurement performance metrics.
  • Establish and promote procurement best practices, tools, processes, and standards across the organization.
  • Monitor market developments, industry benchmarks, and regulatory considerations to improve total cost of ownership and sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure supplier engagements and sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, risk management frameworks, and business requirements.
  • Lead executive-level discussions with senior stakeholders, translating complex supplier and commercial topics into clear recommendations and decisions.
  • Requirements

    • Experienced strategic sourcing professional with strong procurement expertise, negotiation capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex organization.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related functions, including ownership of complex sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
    • Proven experience developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver measurable business value and cost savings.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating spend data, market intelligence, supplier performance, and business requirements.
    • Experience managing supplier relationships, resolving performance issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives, including Finance, Legal, Technology, and business leaders.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, operate independently, and deliver results in a remote environment.
    • Experience with technology, SaaS, or indirect procurement categories is highly preferred.
