About You
- A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other related field is required.
- 15+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, focused on stormwater design and modeling.
- P.E. license is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Engineering Software Experience: HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), HEC-HMS, EPA/XP/PC SWMM, InfoWorks, Autodesk SSA, Hydraflow, ArcGIS Pro.
- Active membership in professional societies is a plus.
About The Role
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tasks for a variety of stormwater projects, including watershed and floodplain studies, closed stormwater systems, and green infrastructure projects for state, municipal, and private clients.
- Lead the design and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Lead the preparation of reports and other technical documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of EPSC plans and development of SWPPPs.
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct fieldwork, including site assessments, data collection, and construction observation, as required.
- Support QA/QC of designs, reports, and calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Effectively convey project work, schedules, and results verbally and in writing.
- Present project information at client and community meetings.
- Cook up design development and provide technical direction to junior staff.
- Mentor and train junior staff.
