For our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Senior State Estimation Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design and deployment of state estimation and sensor calibration solutions
  • Lead complex projects from conception to onboard implementation, focusing on safety and scalability
  • Champion innovation in self-calibration and fault tolerance for real-time systems
  • Mentor engineers and enhance engineering practices within teams
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering groups to integrate essential capabilities into systems
  • Influence technical roadmaps to align with strategic company objectives

Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 8-10+ years in developing and deploying real-time state estimation and sensor calibration systems
  • Technical leader in sensor calibration and state estimation for safety-critical systems
  • Proficient in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in development and integration tools
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills, influencing technical strategy

Pay

$170,600 – $261,300 annually
