About the role

As a Senior/Staff Technical Recruiter at Runway, you will play a vital role in recruiting for roles across all our Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process; from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews with the help of a Recruiting Coordinator to offer delivery
  • Lead and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by getting back to candidates within hours versus days and managing a thoughtful interview process
  • Work closely with our hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and come up with innovative recruiting strategies
  • Track all search metrics and provide weekly updates to hiring managers and the broader recruiting team
  • Continuously work on designing unbiased interview processes and sourcing strategies to give candidates from all backgrounds equal opportunities to be hired
  • Participate in recruiting events and cross-functional projects as needed

Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical recruiting experience with at least 2-3 years at a fast-scaling software company
  • Driven to find mechanisms and build programs that result in attracting great talent at all levels and giving our hiring managers targeted pipelines where they can build strong relationships with engaged candidates
  • Sourcing experience using a variety of tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, meetups, Gem, etc.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse or Ashby experience a plus)
  • Ability to move fast and focus on impact

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with recruiting tools and platforms
  • Understanding of the recruiting process and best practices
  • Knowledge of the tech industry and trends

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)
  • Knowledge of industry trends and technologies

Remote across the US or Canada— we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle
