About the role

Nuro is seeking individuals to join our team in this pivotal phase of our growth. This role will play a crucial part in our transition from delivering goods to licensing our advanced autonomous technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain autonomous driving software
  • Liaise with partners and customers to integrate Nuro’s technology
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with autonomous vehicle development and testing
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and computer vision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Passionate about advancing autonomous technology
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with Python, C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System)

Skills

  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques and lidar data processing
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
