Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
• Previous C++ or Python development/test experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and thus a US Citizen.

Duties

For this role, you will be joining the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight software for the missile system.

You will join a team of software engineers that designs and develops mission critical Avionics subsystems for the FBM program.

The duties for the position will incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle -- requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance.

Desired Skills

• Experience in processor and microprocessor firmware (non-OS based).
• Experience in processor firmware and software (OS based) - software drivers and firmware wrappers.
• Understanding of missile or satellite software systems.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers.
