Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Interactives)

Responsibilities

• Create interactive building blocks that engage learners and facilitate mastery.
• Develop expressive APIs tailored for experts and AI integration.
• Lead technical implementation of learning projects from conceptualization to launch.
• Foster a culture of mutual accountability and high standards within the team.
• Evaluate how developments impact learner experiences regularly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in web-focused software engineering, with a focus on game development, animation, or interactive media.
• Driven to create maintainable, AI-friendly software that meets user and business needs.
• Adaptable and open to using various tools, even if they're unfamiliar or unexciting.
• Possesses a strong perspective on product usability and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with Elm, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SVG is advantageous.
