Senior-Staff Software Engineer, Business Systems

About the role

This role is within the Business Systems Engineering team at Verkada. You will design and implement technical solutions spanning AWS, Salesforce, and NetSuite. You will also improve systems observability and invest in reliability and correctness of data. Additionally, you will lead projects from ideation to release and help and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions that span between AWS, Salesforce, and NetSuite

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering with a focus on distributed systems at scale
• Experience shipping customer facing products or internal tools
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passion for observability and reliability
• In-depth expertise in distributed systems and data processing
• AWS Cloud experience touching foundational blocks like: Kubernetes, Fargate, Lambda, Airflow, Athena, DynamoDB, VPC, and EC2
• Bonus: Experience with data infrastructure and data analytics
