Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack system design and architecture initiatives at scale, establishing technical standards across engineering teams
• Serve as the connective layer between Senior Engineers and the VP of Engineering, translating strategic direction into executable technical roadmaps
• Jump across teams to provide hands-on technical guidance, unblock engineers, and accelerate delivery
• Architect and build features across the full stack using TypeScript, JavaScript (React, Node.js), and Go or Python
• Design and optimize cloud infrastructure and services on AWS
• Mentor and elevate senior engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical coaching
• Identify and resolve systemic engineering challenges, improving reliability, scalability, and performance

Qualifications And Skills

• At least 10 years of professional experience in a Software Engineering or similar role
• Proven experience in full-stack system design and architecture at scale
• Strong fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including React and Node.js on the frontend
• Proficiency in Go or Python for backend development
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a principal-level technical leader across multiple teams and projects
• Experience working effectively across organizational levels, from IC engineers to engineering leadership
