About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Staff Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team. This role will lead Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI) implementation in advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, sensors, and hardnesses. You will develop and implement simulation methodology for PCB, high-speed channels, and System-on-Chip (SOC) to optimize SI/PI performance. You will model complex 3D structures, such as PCB connectors and cables, extract and characterize high-speed channels, and comply with industry standards. You will also lead high-speed interface validation in the lab using high-end scopes, vector network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Required Qualifications
- MS (PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree, with 8 + years of industry experience
- Experience with design and implementation of high-speed electrical interfaces, such as PCIe Gen4/Gen5, high-speed or automotive Ethernet, DDR/LPDDR4/5, MIPI, HDMI, USB, etc
- Good EM knowledge and proficiency at SI/PI simulation tools, HFSS/SIwave, ADS or Cadence Sigrity
- Solid understanding of transmission line theory, S-parameters, signal processing, and PCB material, stackup, and fabrication process
- Strong lab skills and experience with VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, and TDR, etc
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with automotive hardware development
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $197,000 - $285,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
