Senior Staff Project Coordinator

About the role

ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Staff Project Coordinator skilled in engineering and production project coordination for avionic embedded control systems. Avionic components such as engine controls, flight controls, and cabin systems require significant process control for engineering design, verification test, and production build. The role involves working with internal groups as well as external customers and suppliers. Knowledge of program metrics and EVM tools is a plus. Internal monthly project reviews will require generation of program planning and tracking documents using internal tooling within Oracle and MSBI environments. Upper-level meetings will include Tier-1 level leaders, end customers, and internal managers. Solid communication and teaming skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and production projects for avionic embedded control systems.
• Work with internal teams, external customers, and suppliers.
• Generate program planning and tracking documents for monthly project reviews.
• Utilize internal tooling within Oracle and MSBI environments.
• Participate in upper-level meetings with Tier-1 leaders, end customers, and internal managers.
• Apply knowledge of avionic processes (e.g., DO-160, DO-178, DO-254) and test/qualification methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with avionic embedded control systems from bid to final production stages.
• Experience with avionic processes such as DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254.
• Experience with avionic test and qualification processes.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for teleconferences with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environments.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications (Desired)

• Experience with avionic production systems.
• Knowledge of project metrics and EVM systems.
• Program and/or personnel management experience.

Pay

Salary Range: $66.91 - $120.18 USD per hour.
