Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Feed Relevance

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead key technical initiatives with company-wide significance
• Define technical strategy and direction for the Feeds and Relevance teams
• Collaborate with management on setting goals and mitigating project risks
• Mentor Senior and Staff engineers to enhance their growth
• Cultivate a positive and effective engineering culture

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in relevance-focused product systems
• Expert in machine learning and recommendation systems
• Deep knowledge of building scalable software in large engineering teams
• Proven track record of influencing technical direction across organizations
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including design and product
• Strong commitment to user experience and interaction design
• Excellent communication skills and ability to find compromises across engineering teams

Pay

$266,000 – $372,400 annually
