About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Clear Street Frontend team, you’ll help architect and build the next generation of Clear Street Active, our high-performance trading platform tailored for active traders. The platform integrates real-time market data, low-latency execution workflows, and advanced trading tools into a performant, responsive web interface. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team on large-scale initiatives that deliver high-impact solutions and shape the future of our prime brokerage experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the next generation Clear Street Active trading platform.
• Integrate real-time market data, low-latency execution workflows, and advanced trading tools into a responsive web interface.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale initiatives delivering high-impact solutions.
• Shape the future of the prime brokerage experience.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience implementing web applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with modern web technologies, including demonstrated success at a Senior or higher Engineer level.
• Expertise in building and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, Tanstack, Tailwind.
• Prioritize end-user experience, evident in API design, functionality, and performance.
• Strong command of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Preference for working in a team‑first environment.

• Passion for creating a best‑in‑class developer experience, with an eye for tooling, performance, and maintainability.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $200,000 – $350,000 (starting base salary; actual placement based on experience, skills, and location). This range represents base salary only; total compensation also includes bonuses and equity.
