Senior / Staff Founding Engineer

About the role

You’ll own entire product surfaces, end to end. Talk to a customer, understand the problem, decide what to build, architect the solution, write the code, ship it, and measure whether it actually moved the needle. You have full authority over your areas and direct access to the founders.

Responsibilities

• Talk to a customer, understand the problem, decide what to build, architect the solution, write the code, ship it, and measure whether it actually moved the needle.
• Own the architecture that ties together the platform, including the event-driven agent framework, shared memory across patient interactions, tool orchestration, and the APIs that connect everything.
• Build early intervention systems using claims data, clinical records, and live patient interactions to trigger the right response.
• Design and implement the technical systems for the virtual clinic, focusing on AI handling intake and triage, and human clinicians focusing on complex cases.
• Ensure the architecture can scale to support thousands of members, maintaining real-time responsiveness and avoiding performance issues as the company grows.

Requirements

• 8+ years building software, deep in Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience owning products end to end, not just building features on a roadmap.
• Production experience with healthcare or fintech systems.
• Experience shipping AI/ML in production, including agent systems, LLM orchestration, and data-heavy pipelines.
• A preference for ownership and ambiguity over defined lanes and PM handoffs.
