Senior Staff Failure Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Failure Analysis Team in our Palm Bay, Florida office is seeking a Senior Staff Failure Analysis Engineer with expertise in Power Management. This role supports the growing demand for power requirements in Artificial Intelligence applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on a variety of semiconductor products using package and non-destructive techniques such as curve tracer, X-ray, SAMImages, and photon emission microscopy.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts to identify fault symptoms.
• Use bench equipment to power up and characterize fault symptoms.
• Employ deprocessing techniques including wet chemistry, polishing, and plasma for further analysis.

Requirements

• 8-10 years’ experience in semiconductor device failure analysis.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Specific failure analysis experience with Power Management products.
• Knowledge of electrical isolation and physical failure analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of diodes and transistors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Initiative-taking and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Skills
