Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate silicon-based circuits and systems for a wide range of applications such as USB power delivery, Wired data Analog Front Ends and power control mechanisms and elements for LDOs, DC-DC converters using state-of-the-art EDA tools
- Apply engineering judgement and analysis methods to arrive at optimized solutions
- Develop block and product definitions, integration requirements and verification requirements with interaction of cross-functional teams
- Create result reports in a clear and concise manner
- Support for test planning and silicon bring-up, characterization and test
- Supervise layout activities related to block & chip design
Qualifications and Skills
- 5-7 years of industry experience in CMOS analog design and development methods
- Good understanding of transistor level analog integrated circuits, device physics and transmission-line characteristics
- Design experience with analog modules such as op-amp circuits, ADC, DAC, LDOs, DC-DC converters, PLL, high data rate transmitters, receivers and signal-conditioning (such as equalization)
- Strong written and communication skills
- Familiarity with Z-domain signal processing concepts
- Understand ESD and latch-up risk and protection mechanisms
- Solid knowledge of EDA design tools

In the United States, it is required to disclose a salary range to applicants. The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is: San Jose, CA Minimum of $177,400 per year and maximum of $243,900 per year
