What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, subsystems, and components for medical devices.
  • Apply advanced electrical engineering principles to create innovative, reliable, and compliant product designs.
  • Translate user, clinical, and business needs into system requirements, specifications, and architectural designs.
  • Drive prototyping, verification, validation, and testing strategies while resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and influence their integration into future product development efforts.
  • Make critical design tradeoff decisions and contribute to intellectual property through patents, disclosures, and trade secrets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to deliver successful products.
  • Lead customer-centric design activities, including Voice of Customer initiatives, while leveraging market, competitive, and clinical insights.
  • Leverage market, competitive, and clinical insights to drive customer-centric design activities.
  • Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and presentations.

What You Need (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 6+ years of work experience.
  • Preferred qualifications: Ability to lead or teach electrical engineers in electrical design, Advanced understanding of the design of complex components and sub-systems, Advanced understanding of manufacturing and testing methods, Advanced knowledge of sub-system, system, and environmental interactions.

Pay

$102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual
