Senior/Staff Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and ship new features
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and technical growth
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience leading technical initiatives or projects
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with microservices architecture
