Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity of Oracle financials and that internal/external reporting meets business needs and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Complete the monthly close process timely and accurately.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and inflows from subsystems.
  • Provide financial and accounting support for ongoing Oracle developments and process initiatives.
  • Oversee the general ledger system to assure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Serve as Oracle Super User for the General Ledger to ensure consistent and proficient operation of Oracle applications.
  • Participate in and coordinate the preparation of external audit work papers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4-5 years of directly related experience.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, accounting process data flow, general ledger processes/functions, and IRS requirements.
  • Analytical skills, including financial statement analysis, monitoring, and measuring.
  • Computer skills: proficiency in spreadsheet software (including pivot tables and formulas), word processing, email, and financial software systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for various levels of staff.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and conflicting perspectives.
  • Project management skills: ability to direct and facilitate project initiatives to completion on time and within budget.
  • Demonstration of efficiency and organization in personal work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle financial end-user experience.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Not-for-profit experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Pay

USD $74,598.00 - USD $108,703.00 per year.
